I am in temporary solace.

My personal predictions at the onset of the new year is unraveling one by one. I know this is when everything that’s stressed me out the past year would end, if only temporarily.

Finishing up the amortization for the down payment for the house I acquired for my Ma definitely gives me time to be relieved from all the stress I’ve put upon myself the past 15 months. It was all worth it. The house looked cramped, but cozy and airy. Cramped is good; I hope it would bring as closer, not just literally.

I also got a new job now, one that I think really suits me. I really hope I’m right. I know God doesn’t bite on bribes, but I intend to keep my promise.

I’m enjoying a temporary relief from the consequences of what I’ve chosen to do before. I don’t regret them, I don’t regret anything. It’s a bad thought when starting on something new. I look forward to more things coming.

Solo Backpacking: Pagudpud

Bangui Wind Mills

Kapurpurawan Rock Formation

Cape Bojeador Lighthouse

Saud Beach

Kabigan Falls

(I forgot what they call this)

Agua Grande

(I forgot this one too.)

Ruins of a Korean cargo ship

Blue Lagoon Beach

I was tired and bored and craving for some real live ocean waves even on a stormy morning. I filed for a three-day vacation leave from work and where to head to? I don’t know, but I was always dreaming of the Bangui Wind Mills, the sound of the wind turbines against the ocean winds, big waves and white ocean foams. I packed my bags, never telling my Ma that I would be on my own, and headed to the bus station to catch a 12-hour ride to Laoag. The story is long, so it’s just the pictures for now.

I am addicted.

This books are what’s keeping my eyes run dry at night these days. A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin. It’s not your conventional good-versus-evil epic stories found in most books. The supposed heroes in these books get their heads lopped, the supposed villains snakes out of harm’s way, and mysteries kept piling up like snow in winter. You can’t just simply put them down. And these books are bricks, being almost (and some, more than) 1,000 pages thick. Even readers who are not exactly fans of the LOTR type would find this offering really exciting. Unexpected, full of wild twists, and simply irresistible, this series is incomparable. Can’t wait for the final two to come out.

Backtracking

Wow. Been posting a lot of bitterness lately. Well, what do you know, I’ve been busy not getting what I want. But I have it now. I hope I’ll love this. Yes.

I am in a state of shock.

After the longest day of the longest week of my dire life, here I am, head struck down the pillow, and I am just…. SHOCKED. Shock, of the sudden realization of where I am now. I don’t know, it just hit me.

A thousand years ago i was computing income taxes for companies planning mergers. Now i was REDUCED to counting unused tiles for this company that would not probably even make it to its own books because we’re doing it just for the sake of the unused tiles being accounted.
Such a STUPID waste of intellect. And to think that I volunteered my self to it. Tangina talaga, oo. Counting tiles, my ass.

Why the FUCK am I doing this? This feels like a dream, where you don’t know where it begun, and you just found yourself there.

Well, practicality is no longer my priority, and I’m counting 25 days before I end this shit.

Here we go again….

Hindrances, restraints, obstructions, or do I create my own self-destruction? Blasting opportunities from which I never learn. Perhaps a spiral of devastation is what I truly enjoy in the deepest of my desires. Absurd. I was told to create, but I never TRUSTED. Accept or refuse? No. Yes. But this is my way of life! Little things come and go, but why, why do they need to BLOW UP to proportions? The end, at last, by the things overlooked. I await the next mistake I will make.

Christmas - Accounting Style

Nope, it’s not even about the numbers. We’ve been thinking how we can make Christmas felt in the office, and we, being accountants, decided to get resourceful. For example, we turned a box full of these:

into these:

Cool, right? :)

(It’s actually an idea of one of our assistants. I just donated my memo pads.)

Took Globe’s leader quiz and I got this. Nah, I’m not so much of a leader, I know that.
